In my latest essay, “My Surprise, Racist, 25th-Birthday Cake” (link in bio), I explore my younger, vulnerable state of mind being mixed-race. I tried so hard to fit in, but being able to ‘pass’ without consciousness has damaging repercussions—that’s exactly how I let this obscenity happen. Writing this was a huge learning experience for me and helped me understand my place being mixed-race in a world that oftentimes pressures you to be one way or the other. Hey friends! I’m finally publishing my open goodbye letter to New York tomorrow and you can hit the link in my bio to get it directly in your inbox (swipe to the next slide for a little excerpt). I shifted gears a bit, all explained in the current issue, but in short: my blog contracted a virus of its own in 2020 and was completely unsalvageable. I had to shut it down and start over, but instead of completely building a brand new site, I decided to simply launch a Substack that I dubbed ‘Enigmatic’ so I can focus on storytelling (not code). Hope to see you there ❤️

One of my favorites from the new @playboy x Finish Line collaboration inspired by the lifestyle of sports car racing. #Playboy #PlayboyPartner #PlayboyXFinishLine This is really important and something I didn't know until recently: Playboy has been supporting the LGBTQIA+ community since the 1950's—the very decade they launched—and has provided a platform for queer, feminist, political (on either side), controversial, and celebrated thinkers to express themselves both in written and visual form.
