Standout projects making waves around the web

Stone and Soil delivers on the perfect vibes for date night. A cozy vibe, innovative cocktails and some playful small bites make a perfect evening out. My favorite drinks were the Vino y Tomate and Burn it Up while on the food side I recommend ordering up the scallops curry and duck breast — ???? @stoneandsoilnyc ???? Gramercy, Manhattan ????

Affordable tasting menus are hard to come by these days which is why I’m so excited about Boro Brine. They offer a 7 course seafood heavy menu for $98 at a beautiful chefs counter in the back. All the chefs creations were playful and fantastic. The wine pairing offered some really unique pours. If you’re in the mood for something more casual they also offer à la carte with dishes like Lobster Pot Pie and a great cocktail list. Very excited to have them in the neighborhood! — ???? @borobrine ???? Williamsburg, Brooklyn ????

Had a blast at the Tastes of Thai Select Food Festival by @thaiselectusa. All the restaurants are chosen for providing authentic Thai flavors and I even found some dishes I’ve never seen before. Check out their page for upcoming events and a list of their selected restaurants in NYC. Restaurants mentioned: @enthaice_thai_kitchen @koontasteofsiam @samyan.nyc @udomthai @thaitaieatery_maspeth

It’s #CincoDeMayo and if you need a new taco spot make it this one. The team from Aldama opened El Chato last year with tortillas that are nixtamalized daily and a small but grear assortment of meat including trompo (al pastor), tripe and the best lengua I’ve had outside of Mexico. Let me know which is your favorite in the comments ???? — ???? @taqueriaelchato.nyc ???? Greenpoint, Brooklyn ????

@kru.bk is a Thai restaurant but it’s unlike any other Thai restaurant you’ll visit. There’s one curry and no noodles. Instead the focus on ancient Thai recipes with modern twists to create some of the most innovative cuisine in the city. It’s a place I love returning to not just for the impeccable food, but also the warm hospitality, chill vibe and great wine program. The menu has evolved over the years and I recently returned to try some of the fantastic new additions. Here’s what I had: 1. White Turmeric Spicy Salad w/ Prawn & Pork 2. Honey Soy Crispy Pork Belly 3. Red Curry Rubbed Branzino 4. Young Jackfruit Salad 5. Lobster Tartare, Tomatoes 3 Ways, Nori 6. Savory Fruit Bites

Freshly cooked pitas and lovingly made mezze make all the difference in Middle Eastern food. Palestinian restaurant Ayat is serving up some of the best you’ll find along with a menu ranging from classics like kebab and mansaf to wild original creations like the pizzawarma. These guys have several locations around the city so go check one out close to you — ???? @ayat.nyc ???? Multiple Locations NYC
