Today is a magical day for Christian and I, we eternalized our love together forever and I’m so happy to call him my husband. We have been wanting to get married for a while but it seemed like it wouldn’t happen anytime soon due to how crazy expensive a proper wedding would have cost. We decided to privately get married at the Santa Barbara Spanish Colonial Courthouse and honeymoon in Santa Ynez/Solvang. We decided to keep it private until the day of to keep it sacred and special between the two of us. We still would like to do a formal wedding with friends and family but unsure when that will happen. 2006/2025 | it’s been a long time since I’ve made any post about a band, but this dusty goth girl is really appreciating @twin_tribes . There are very few new bands that catch my attention but they have the “hook”, the “it factor” the spooky/moody/dark vibe I love. Getting to see them live in a great venue made me appreciate their talent even more. I also love that my hubby comes from a 90s goth band family (Cinema Strange) and enjoys the moody goth music with me.

Mother’s Day. Life has put some challenges before me. Almost a year ago I became my mother’s caretaker and embarked on a journey to try and transform her health. She was living in an old apartment that had a lot of water damage, therefore mold galore. She also has early alheizmers and chronic pain. She was going between my brother and I which made it a little easier but my brother has gone M.I.A and won’t return any calls or messages. He also is not responding to our mother as well. This has put me in the hard place of guessing if this means he wants nothing to do with us, therefore putting me as a the full time guardian of our mother. I’m still working full time along with trying to be a good wife, and making all decisions for my mother. My husband has been so supportive during this and helps with her everyday. I’m the only one she has willing to do this, she sacrificed so much for us and worked so hard. I could never turn my back on her. But becoming a caretaker at 36 Fing blows, especially when I haven’t even become a mother yet.

????36???? Officially in my late 30s. I guess this is where people start talking about feeling old, their body hurting and health issues, but none of that is true for me. Putting my health as a priority 8 years ago is truly paying off. I feel and look better than I did 10 years ago at 26! My recent venture is chiropractor visits, 3 weeks in to my treatment plan and my nervous system seems to be finally healing from years of wild shit in my life. Hot yoga and weight lifting help my body stay strong and flexible too. Staying away from crap food, sugar and alcohol is key. Eating clean, local and organic as often as possible. Health is much deeper than “staying skinny”, you can be skinny and be extremely unhealthy. I’m blessed to have my man by my side almost 11 years now also on the same health journey as me. Fun past two nights roaming Austin, seeing good comedy where it felt like we were the center topic of the show, and eating delicious food.
