Also keep in mind that the Taj opens based on the time of sunrise each morning, so make sure to zero in on your best arrival and expect to get in line about 45 minutes to one hour before sunrise to feel like you have the place (almost, kinda) to yourself.”

Woke up before sunrise to get my tiny lil mind blown by the Taj Mahal and all I got were these photos and an all time travel memory. Running through the courtyard and having the Taj appear in the still dim blue morning light was surreal. Ty @gowaytravel and our epic guide, Imran, who has been to the Taj 3,600 times (nbd) and who expertly told us its romantic and heart breaking story. Had chatgpt do its best guess at what it might look like to be there, just in case I missed my 3:45am alarm. Thankfully, I didn’t. ????
