Born and raised in the 80’s in Burlington ON, I’ve never been one to meet the expectations others had for me. I had my own ideas, plans, goals, and dreams… independent from the hive mind. I have always strived to leave my mark in this world, in this life that was graciously gifted to me by my amazing mother and father. I have since never stopped creating, making, being loud in my passions, my wants, my needs, leaving marks everywhere I can and as often as I can. For me. I ignored all that wasn’t of interest. I aced subjects I loved and failed the ones I didn’t. High school was a joke to me. Years and years of trying to just get through it… I walked away. I had other plans. They did not involve wasting time. I am an artist, musician, tattooer, a mother, a partner, and I have a ridiculous love for black cats. I have been business for self since I was 21 and I do things my own way. I’ve reinvented myself over and over through the years, and I will never stop. I will always be, unapologetically me. Xo

It’s interesting, the random tangible things that we connect to so much that we feel woven into them. This duffle bag has been my sidekick on so many adventures. Starting with running away from home as a young teen, she has joined me on every tour I went on with every band I was in or working for, every address I’ve moved from and every address I’ve moved to, she has seen a LOT of the world with me, and she never let me down. I sent her off proper, to another teenager who has a heart made of wildfire, much the same. So long Duffle Deb, thanks for 32 years of holding all my shit together. Xoxoxo
