I always knew if I ever had the opportunity to be a mama, I wanted sweet and rugged little boys. ???? Turns out Shane’s an over achiever, life is full of surprises, and apparently vasectomy appointments don’t book themselves????????—- who knew?! So, cheers to week 35, and the best gift we could ever give Asher— a baby brother. ???????????? I’ve truly enjoyed not “announcing” my life on social media these days and watching people be really awkward & uncomfortable when they see me in public, lol. I wanted to hold out and just show up with a baby on socials, but, our pictures are too cute not to share. So, I caved. ???? “???????????? ???????????????????????????? ???????????????????????????????? ???????????? ???????????????????????? ???????????? ???????????????? ???????????????????????? ????????????????????” Year 33 was the hardest & most trying year of my entire life. It took 4 tremendous losses in a year to bring us our perfect son, who has been the shining light in our darkest of days. While not in our plans, & never even fully being certain I could ever carry a child— the universe somehow knew we needed this little man. Our hearts couldn’t take losing anyone else we loved. He has healed our hearts in ways we’ll likely never understand. Forever grateful for this literal angel I have been forever blessed with & get to raise with my very best friend. While my heart is broken that he’ll never get to meet his Grandpas (or the best pups in the world), earth side… I know they’ve already met him and made sure he was the perfect combination of craziness and bliss before sending him to us. Grateful for this perfect boy & grateful for the man who made me a mama. Happy Mother’s Day EVERYDAY to all, but mostly to all the soon-to-be mama’s going through it. There is so much light and love at the end of the tunnel & your sweet little human will show you that you’re way stronger than you ever knew. ???????????????? #mothersdayeveryday
