Obviously I’m a goober and take stellar photos but had to share this dress. #notsponsored It is from @sheincurve and while I know their sizing is not great and we deserve better this dress in a 4x would fit sizes 28-36 (just my guess). My obsession is off the shoulder maxi’s and this one is stunning. If any one was liking this dress and concerned in sizing, don’t fret as the stretch and cut will work for 28+. READ THIS Get ready for some long winded shit…but recently I went on @bloomchicfashion to express my disappointment in a premature event for a site that only goes to a 2X. Anyways, if they expand great but I also i “@“ many influencer (some of which used to BEG me to be in SKORCH or work with me in some capacity) and now want NOTHING to do with me now that I work in corporate not in fashion. My “@“ also caused me to lose a couple “friends”. Me tagging them is what I think to be very irresponsible to support a brand that had an “IT” event. Anyways, again all this is whatever and not the fucking point. It is INCREDIBLY important to me and has been incredibly important to for over 10 years to practice #sizeinclusive #sizeinclusivefashion I made it my mission to show all bodies and putting those gorgeous bodies in what I could, to be as fashionable as options allowed. So this is very important to me. I am not jumping on a band wagon all of the sudden and I’m certainly not doing this because “I’m so upset we’re not friends anymore and I am just jealous”. One of these influencers even went so far to call me racist for saying that all of these “influencers” should be held accountable. My passion when I worked in the industry was ALL SIZES, ALL GENDERS, SMALL BUSINESSES AND THE PROOF WAS IN MY MOTHER FUCKING DELICIOUS PUDDING. Guys- in case it isn’t super obvious, lots of these influencers are not good people. If you can’t get them something (followers, exposure) you are yesterday’s trash. It’s happened to so many of my sisters and allies. @saucyewest I am so proud of you for using your platform. Not only are you stunning and one of my favorite models I’ve ever booked/worked with. You are a beautiful person and soul. To all the companies that still fight and make positive strides in this community keep on keeping on.
