340kg x 5 conventional deadlifts from my last run of them . I post this to show there should be a huge visual difference between your stiff leg and your conventional deadlift . You can see on the conventional pull, my back angle is close to 45 degrees , whereas on yesterdays stiff leg it’s pretty much parallel to the floor - so already that range your erectors have to work in , is double on a stiff leg . Next , the leg drive factor on a conventional pull should be huge , I use massive knee drive every rep, as you can see . The stiff leg, my knees don’t move at all during the whole set. Understanding your exercise selection will go a long way into building the physique you want .

Throwback Thursday to at some point in my last prep. I know the majority of us are extremely hard on ourselves when preparing ( unless your smashing that deludabol lol) , I am never ever kind to myself during preps , but looking back it’s always much easier to appreciate the look and then often even like it . Try to be kinder to yourself in the moment , I will try much harder too :)

To get to this , I didn’t ask about ROM , or rep ranges over and over. Those questions didn’t exist 20 years ago and didn’t need to, because there were people who had the size I wanted, so I emulated what they did , and guess what? It worked . We didn’t ever talk about fatigue , EVER . I’m so insanely embarrassed for you , if you mention fatigue management to me. To get to this , I set lift targets , really fucking high ones . I knew that if I could overhead smith 5 plates a side I would have bigger delts than anyone else, ooo wow , it worked . I knew that if I could get my stiff leg to 8 plates a side , I would have bigger erectors , ooo wow that worked too. Fucking funny that ! I focused entirely on the work and didn’t give a shit what I felt / endured , to reach the lift targets . I cannot express how much I hate this app now , and all the complete utter wank that I read , from people with no muscle , advising people with no muscle. Ban these shit convos from your mind and focus entirely on the work , it’s a small person thing to find 20 ways to distract themselves from the fact they are too much of a fucking pussy to go after hard sets and set huge lift targets . I don’t care if your natty either , @ajmorris_ and @khifiewest_ did it , they set piss take lift targets and built a shit ton of muscle doing it . We didn’t talk about not doing the work because motor unit recruitment declines as sets go on - FUCK OFF and just do it , and do more of it , and more again until your so battered that you can’t get out of bed. So practical advice instead of just calling you all a bunch of useless c*nts . Whatever you lift now for 4 reps , you must must must get it to 12 asap , with zero change in form and then by this time next year you MUST of increased your load on the bar by 50 percent, that is doable I promise you. Be a savage and attack your sets and put all this insane noise out of your mind . Are we trying to get big here!!? Or are we just talking about it ?

Final slide full session , I’m down around 10kg so far this diet and press strength still holding on In there no issue. We have just received the new chest press from @granitegymequipment that I designed so we will get that built in the next week or so and then can put in work on that! I’m very excited for it , as much like the posterior developer , I think we covered everything you could possibly think of in a press

Some from today , final slide full session. Goal of leg press was max knee flexion - My heels are coming off and that felt fine. Goal with RDL is piss take ROM . I haven’t been on here much. After lots of curls today , loaded hypers , adjusting the resistance profile as sets go on! The only place you can use one of these atm is at @tbjpgym . It will go on sale soon with @granitegymequipment , I just want to check how it feels with a slight further adjustment to the upper loading arm , to see if I can get even more ham tension without any limiting factor of the glute shortening , as when you see people use this , they fail because they can’t get their glutes fully short , So this would limit your ham stimulus potential . Once this goes on sale I assure it was made with so much thought going into every aspect before being rolled out !
