Had a fun ride today. Super tough to be honest. Crazy headwinds with a 4000 ft elevation gain. Ran out of water half way through with no spots for a refill. First time I had to call Mel to pick me up 10 miles from ending. Was crazy dizzy and nauseous. All in all great experience and loved it for sure!!

Raising these little dudes is the greatest gift. Scares me some days that I’m not doing it right but that’s often what motivates me to be better the next day. I once heard Craig Groeschel say to take every opportunity to play with your kids when they ask to play if you can make that happen. I legit think about that every time my boys ask to play with me. I’m not perfect at answering to that call but I def strive to be. It’s so easy to come up with excuses cause I’d rather relax but I don’t ever want to look back and regret missed opportunities with these boys... Also shout out to the AMAZING @jilliangoulding for these photos, couldn’t be more happy. Will be sharing more soon. ❤️

This past year I’ve put the most miles on my bike and running than ever before. I started the year by setting a goal to run 1000 miles. So far I’m at 940. I’ll get the 60 in, but I’ve managed to come across little pains that limited my miles the last two months. I’ve only become to enjoy them both the more I put the time into them. It’s motivated me to sign up for two @ironmantri in 2021. Since I’ve been married I’ve always told Mel that I wanted to compete in a full Ironman and I’m finally committed after 12 years lol. I’ve learned a lot about my body this past year as I’ve added the miles, but I feel like I am great shape to start training hard in Jan 2021. Prob post a lot of the journey on here.
