Haavee you met… Tugce? I began my journey as a travel writer, driven by curiosity and a desire to understand places through their people, their tables, and their stories. Over time, my path naturally expanded into marketing, content creation, and brand strategy, working closely with the hospitality world from both creative and editorial perspectives. Along the way, I produced documentary projects, worked as an inspector for a renowned culinary rating platform, and collaborated closely with renowned hotels, restaurants, and destinations across the world. Yet food was never just a subject for me. It was always a language. This led me to formal culinary education, completing my bachelor’s degree in culinary arts and gastronomy at Cordon Bleu in Florence. That experience gave me an insider’s understanding of kitchens, craft, and the discipline behind hospitality, allowing me to unite travel and food into a single, cohesive vision. From this journey, @thetableoffriends was born. What started as a travelling table, bringing people together in different places through food, shared experience, and the spirit of each destination, evolved into something deeper. What a year for @thetableoffriends !???? What started as a “Flying Aperitivo” on a small terrace in Florence grew into long tables of up to 80 people. From Forte dei Marmi to Lofoten, Selimiye, Amsterdam, Berlin, and Bursa. The new year begins next week in San Francisco. It then continues Miami and New York. From there, the table heads to St. Moritz, London, İstanbul, Bali and finally back home to Tuscany. Many more tables yet to dissolve themselves further, into new places and new friendships.
