On November 15, 2024, at 12:45 a.m., our precious JT entered this world, filling our hearts with a love we didn’t know was possible. It has now been two months since we first held him—two months we kept to ourselves, falling more in love with our little boy. I wasn’t ready to share him with the world then, but now I am. His arrival didn’t go as I had imagined. My delivery was far from what I had dreamed of, and the following days were tough. JT had jaundice, weight loss, and dehydration, keeping us in the hospital longer. When we finally went home, we ended up back in the ER the next day. The start of this journey was rough, and my inability to breastfeed added to my struggles. The weeks that followed brought postpartum depression and some of the hardest days of my life. Slowly, things began to improve. Hearing stories from fellow moms helped me feel less alone, and my incredible partner, Ray, was my rock through it all. Therapy was also a lifeline, helping me heal and focus on being the best mom for JT. I share this not to dwell on the challenges but to remind struggling moms that it’s okay to struggle, to ask for help, and to accept that motherhood isn’t always picture-perfect. Despite it all, JT’s smile and his eyes looking into mine make everything worth it. He is my greatest blessing, and I am learning to be kinder to myself on the hard days. These photos remind me of both JT’s and my own growth. I’m so grateful to be his mom and can’t wait to see him grow. To any mom out there who feels alone: You’re not. Be patient with yourself—there’s so much strength in sharing your journey.

???? For our gender reveal, we wanted to keep it simple and just with family (my family was watching on my phone hehe). Ray had always dreamed of a Pokémon-themed reveal, so he asked me to put together a video of a Pokémon hatching from an egg. ???? A pink Pokémon would mean a girl, and a blue Pokémon would mean a boy. It turned out to be super cute and memorable, and we’re thrilled to announce we’re having a baby boy! ???????? Our Vietnam engagement shoot ✨ Part 1 ✨ What a day this was. We woke up at 4am to get ready and to hit the scene at sunrise (trying to beat the heat). I’ll never forget these moments, it was so fun posing with Ray (he hates taking photos lol) and being silly in general. On Nov. 8, 2023, Ray did the thing! We had only landed a day before in Vietnam and he had just recently met my entire family. My grandma had invited us and the rest of the family over for lunch to give us a beautiful speech. I won’t go into too many details of her speech (because I’ll start bawling again), but it was the perfect moment. Seizing the opportunity, Ray asked for my grandma’s permission, then went down on one knee. It was the most intimate and precious memory I have and I will be forever in awe of how Ray continues to show me so much love and never fails to romance the hell out of me. I cannot wait to begin this next chapter with my soulmate, my best friend, and the love of my life. 2 weeks later, on our last day in Vietnam, we decided to have our engagement shoot. One location we took photos at was a coffee/boba shop. For those of you who didn’t know, Ray and I met at a coffee shop 12 years ago. Throughout the years, we became obsessed with boba and each other, hehe. Because of that, I wanted to incorporate those details into the shoot. This is a little teaser of what’s coming.
