Tomorrow is the day I’ve been waiting for for over a month now: it’s time to say goodbye to “Snow in Tromso” and start a new blogging chapter under a brand new brand name ? Stay tuned for the big reveal tomorrow (and maybe turn on post notifications so you don’t miss it and end up wondering who that account with the name you don’t recognize is ?)! ____ Any ideas on what the new name will be? And no, it won’t be anything weather-related! ?

I don’t know about you but I can’t wait for this year to be over and 2019 to begin (except that I’d love Christmas to last longer, of course - I looooove Christmas) ❤️ This year has thrown a chronic illness my way and made me cancel all travels - except that I slowly but surely feel as though I might get the hang of it now and was able to spend 5 days in stunning Copenhagen without any issues! I’m extremely grateful and proud of myself for that, even though it’s such a tiny accomplishment for any healthy person and it’s not even like I’m actually in control over my illness cause I’ll never really be... Anyway, I’m really excited for 2019 now as I’m determined to get back into traveling for good - in fact, I’ll probably spend the evening checking those SAS Thursday flight deals that made me go to Copenhagen in the first place. Let’s see if there’s somewhere else that catches my eye ? ____ PS: You might have already seen a few changes if you’ve been to my blog in the last couple of days but you better prepare yourself for a major change in the upcoming year! I’m currently working on something that I’ve wanted to do for ages now but always pushed aside as I was just too afraid. Well, if this illness has taught me one thing, it’s to stop spending time on things you don’t enjoy and start doing what you actually love ? Stay tuned!

Are you team “outdoor - no matter what” or team “cosy at home”? ⬇️ ____ Last weekend, I went for a stroll along the beach in Copenhagen and this weekend, I went out to explore one of the islands just outside of Stavanger. I don’t know if that means that I’ve officially become Norwegianized but I just can’t help it - I absolutely love spending time outdoors even when it’s freezing cold outside! ❄️ ____ About: German living in Norway, exploring all that Northern Europe has to offer! Happy 30th birthday to my partner in crime ? Even though I would have wished not to receive bad news on your birthday weekend, I’m pretty sure we manage to overcome the obstacle of having to suddenly move houses too! New year, new life...right?! ? ____ PS: Thank you dear landlord for starting the new year by splitting up with your boyfriend and needing your flat back... ?‍♀️

✈️ What are the cities in Northern Europe you’d like to visit in 2019? ____ Visiting Copenhagen this month has really made me want to go on more city trips in the upcoming year! While I’d, of course, also love to explore more of the Arctic and more remote places in the Nordics, in this early stage of figuring out how to travel with my illness, I really find city trips a lot less stressful... Only problem: I’ll work as a tour guide again the entire summer so I kinda find myself wanting to cram in 4 city trips before spring ? Probably not a good idea... ⬇️ So tell me, where would you like to go in Northern Europe and which cities would you like to know more about? That might help me narrow it down a bit ? ____ About: German living in Norway, exploring all that Northern Europe has to offer!
