3.5 miles at the beach means I earned some pizza today. ??

Now that the weather is finally not having a crisis, we hit the beach! The walk was much needed! The #boardwalk was absolutely beautiful and the water was blue as can be. A great way to start the weekend. Cleared my mind.

Bill and I used to be pretty similar - believe it or not. But as we aged, we morphed into two different people. Well, actually I think I stayed the same and he became someone different entirely ... but he debates me on that. LOL

Either way, I’m thankful for the banter and the jokes. Though, I think he wishes I were a wee bit less about horror and sci-fi and more about wine tasting and long drives out East if it were up to him. ;) ?‍♀️

It took me a long time to plug into Long Island. I was a city girl through and true - always going back for some event or another. But last year, it all just clicked - I made the most of where I live now and fell I love. Sand in my toes until the Fall and I cannot wait. Embracing it with open arms.
