Today is your birthday ????. I can’t believe it’s been 5 years already. While I am grateful the more time we spend together, I tear up every year on this day because I never want you to grow old. To my dog that teaches me that: • Life is too short to spend time on anything that is not important • Doing what you love, like fetching a ball in dirty water, is more important than the dirt you’ll get on you. It can be washed off • Presence is the best present • There’s is so much to be happy about, even the little things like touch, going for a walk, having a treat or eating a meal • What you wear, drive, who you know, where you live, doesn’t matter, what matters is that you are there • Forgiveness is a beautiful form of love • Loyalty is unconditional love • Love is as easy as just being by your side You have been my everything since the day I decided to “go and take a look” and took you home.
