A few of my 2024 highlights ✨️ It has been such a Blessed year ???? Which ended with: - looking after the making and opening of a new "baby" @bayanyoga.elnido last December - and moving to El Nido Palawan Philippines last November - January: watched @@moulinrougebway before saying goodbye to the US. Coz I luv musicals! - @dinagyangfestival 2024 for my love of Iloilo ♥️ - March: meeting real-life heroes at Concepcion Iloilo - April: my life-changing month-long training @adhiroha.yoga.centre Rishikesh India - May to August: @@shereenthesouza at Sydney Australia - being God mother to this new cutie nephew - and feeling having a purpose with my stay with them at Sydney - experiencing ups (the good times) and downs (the sad loss of one of us) with Hijas batch '97 - September: the month at @ecosanctuaries.elnido - meeting two amazing women/ now business partners in El Nido - finally teaching yoga - coffee dates with Enzo - Christmas and having spent time with family ♥️

Kasama si, together with Teacher Victoria, we hope to create a safe and nurturing space for everyone who steps foot into our humble studio. Victoria, originally hailing from the town of Iloilo, is one of the Filipina co-founders of Bayan Yoga and one of our main teachers at the studio. Victoria completed 200 hours of training in Bali, Indonesia where she learned to teach Hatha and Vinyasa yoga and where she was introduced to yoga philosophy, meditation, and breathwork. A year later it was in an ashram setting in Rishikesh, India during her 300 hours of Yoga Teachers Training that truly deepened her practice. The experience made her understand, integrate, and able to teach breathwork and meditation as well. It was also in India where she learned to appreciate Ashtanga yoga, yoga kriyas (cleansing), vegetarianism, Ayurveda, sound healing, mantra chanting, and Bhakti yoga. Kami ay natutuwa, we are very delighted, to host you all in our community space together with Teacher Victoria! Join Victoria for her Lakas (Power Yoga), Diwa (Hatha Yoga), and Umaga/Hapon (Morning or Afternoon Vinyasa Yoga) classes and other special events at the studio.

Choosing Teacher @victoriaferraris as our Yogi of the Month was a no-brainer! Starting out as a dedicated student, in love with the practice, to now being a certified yoga teacher!
