“Exposed out of Travertine” Yesterday, we installed this sculpture at a stunning new lake house on Lago Maggiore, where it truly came to life. Both the house and the sculpture are crafted from travertine sourced directly from the quarry. The design features a split block revealing a Muscovite crystal, symbolizing the clients’ life journey and personal story. The Muscovite represents the love and connection between them, reflecting the sparkle they bring to each other’s lives. The sculpture is positioned at eye level, with the Chinese grasses beneath continuing to grow, creating the impression that they elevate the piece. @enealandscapearchitecture #artinstallation #wardstrootman #muscovite #travertin

Thrilled to have this piece as part of my first ever collection! This immense Ammonite fossil originates from Madagascar, naturally adorned with Pyrite, which beautifully complements the bronze. As an artist and jeweler I’ve sculpted and crafted around the fossil, creating the illusion of it floating in your space, an unconventional form of jewelry, not worn by a person but seamlessly integrated. It has been in my gallery on display for a while now. There will come a moment when I’ll release it, eagerly anticipating its integration into a stunning architectural environment. #wardstrootman #naturalart #sculpture —————— Ammonites are Cretaceous (Albian Stage) in age or approximately 110 million years old and are quarried in the Mahajanga Province of Madagascar. Ammonites were predatory mollusks that resembled squid with a shell. ????These cephalopods had eyes, tentacles, and spiral shells. They are more closely related to a living octopus, though the shells resemble that of a nautilus. Ammonites first appearing in the fossil record 240 million years ago, descending from straight shelled cephalopods. The last lineages disappeared 65 million years ago at the end of the Cretaceous.

“Frozen in Time” is now officially launched. My first collectible sculpture, a table object that explores time as the unseen force shaping both the Earth and ourselves. Building on my first collection, Formed by Heat and Pressure, this piece completes the story by adding time the quiet force behind all change. Two textured glass plates, like tectonic plates, hold a quartz crystal gently suspended in a clear pocket. Quartz, often used in watches, connects nature’s rhythm with human precision. Just as crystals grow under pressure over millions of years, we too are shaped by time and experience. Frozen in Time is a reminder that real growth in nature and in life always takes time. Only 50 pieces will be made. Pre-order yours now via the link in my bio.

What looks polished is, in fact, untouched. This Smokey Quartz has its smooth faces formed over millions of years. ???? #smokeyquartz #wardstrootman

I’m excited to share about my new sculpture “Frozen in Time.” Working with glass for this piece was all about precision I shaped it using molds. At the center, a quartz crystal is held gently between two glass plates, capturing a moment of stillness that I hope you can feel when you see it.
