Have you felt you look ā€œgrossā€ wearing shorts?

I had this happen to me last weekend. As you guys know Iā€™m back at the gym now. And that means back into gym clothes.

And that means shorts.

I put my shorts on. I looked in the mirror And all I could see were the legs that were now much bigger than they used to be.
The muscles that used to be there, now werenā€™t.
And the cellulite on the back of my thighs.

I almost took the shorts off. Too
embarrassed by my body changes over the past year to go out in them. Let alone to the gym where the people used to know me as the ā€œfit girl.ā€

Before I go on. I know that Iā€™m in a smaller body and have ā€œthing privilegeā€. I realize this. But that doesnā€™t make it any easier to come from a body that used to be smaller for nearly a decade.

We all struggle with the same things even in different body sizes.

But back to my story.

Just as I was about to take them off I looked in the mirror and I saw something else.

The girl who was strong mentally for recovering.
The girl who chose true health over aesthetics.
The girl who liked her life a whole lot better even though her thighs were bigger.

The girl who was truly happy.

And so I kept the darn shorts on and went to the gym.

Cellulite and all.

Your worth isnā€™t about your body or how you look in shorts.

You are worthy just as you are right now. Because you are the ONLY YOU. Donā€™t let a pair of shorts (or any clothing) take that away from you.

Do you like milk, white or dark chocolate? Everything in me wants to like dark chocolate šŸ« but Iā€™m a 5 year old on the Inside which is why I can only do white or milk chocolate šŸ˜… probably also why I obsess over anything funfetti or cookie dough too  šŸ˜but I digress!

These chocolate peanut butter fat bombs are actually a little on the dark side (are we in Star Wars?) but I actually love them because they are SO creamy and smooth! šŸ˜ donā€™t love calling them ā€œfat bombsā€ but when thatā€™s what they are, thatā€™s what they are šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø.

INGREDIENTS
Peanut butter
Coconut oil
Stevia sweetened chocolate (or any chocolate!)
Cocoa powder
Liquid stevia
