Your thought can’t hold, or express the totality of what and who you are. Yet you ”Think” -that word again-, you know who you are. Yeah, that’s YOU. The YOU you use to connect with someone else. Or better yet, who you Think that someone else IS. And it goes on and on… The consciousness with which you are reading this, interpreting this, and getting your own understanding cannot be held into a thought. It can only BE experienced in the present moment. What’s beautiful is that, THAT is what unites us. That is why we are ONE. β™Ύ - Yassir

What’s your favorite pulling exercise? Comment below. Let me set up the context for you. I’m currently directing my practice towards getting the One-Arm Chin Up and the Front Lever. So we could see these exercises as… 1️⃣ FL to MU (Accessory for Skill) 2️⃣ FL HOLD (Main Skill) 3️⃣ PAUSE WEIGHTED CHIN UPS (Main Strength) 4️⃣ 2P QUADRUPED ROWS (Accessory for Strength) - 5️⃣ BONUS: SHAKING & STILLNESS (Main - Parasympathetic State Induction ????) Can’t get stronger without time invested in recovery. Learning how to up-regulate to sympathetic or down-regulate to parasympathetic states will help you in life. It’s that important. See why breathing and meditating is on β€œthe rise” now? Topic for another conversation.) These are some of the exercises I practiced recently as an introduction to the 2 chosen skills. Clearly, the ”introduction” into a skill will always differ from one person to another. Another reason to get in tune with your own body, and your own practice. Don’t mindlessly copy a routine, or some exercises… Instead, test them and draw your own conclusions. Integrate some. Disregard some. Forget some. Revisit some. Neglect some. Reconsider some. The practice goes on… Want to express something? Got questions? I read you ☺️ Thanks for expressing ???????? - Yassir ???? @saturnomovement ???? Vilca- Savej (@shivelightofficial YT session)

Sometimes these type of challenges loosen everything up and invite fun moments. Dopamine shots. Ego boosts. Or the total opposite. How long are we going to pretend they are not there, to be observed. Anyway… ????CHALLENGE 1 While hanging… ~ Grab something (weight plate, tennis ball…) ~ Through it between your legs. ~ Regrab w/ SAME hand. …Challenge 1 emerged from atempting Challenge 2. ???? CHALLENGE 2 Same as Challenge 1 but… ~ Through and regrab w/ the OPPOSITE HAND hand. ????‍♂️ Don’t do this if you hesitate to hang on 1 arm, and are unable to spend some time there β€œfeeling safe”. Please be cautious. I appreciate you for tagging me on this buddy @cameronahouse ???????? It was a fun one. @fabiandiaz_sm with the encouragement ???????????????? The practice goes on. Moving in the morning could change your entire day? Yes/No? βœ… If yes… you’ve got another routine to try. ❌ If no… please give this a try. β€” 5 min. Morning Movement Routine β€” 1️⃣ BEAR CRAWL ⠀↳ Ideal to warm up the whole body before getting into the stretches. Keep your core and scapula engaged. Avoid arching your lumbar, and retracting your scapula. 2️⃣ KNEELING DIAGONAL STRETCH ⠀↳ Open your hips and spine as you rotate and extend. Increase the stride length as you get more open. Twists and extend from mid-back (thoracic), and not just lower-back (lumbar). 3️⃣ SIDE LAYING TWIST ⠀↳ Stretch the whole lateral line of the body - the side that has the leg straight on the ground. Some spinal side flexion will aid a deeper stretch. 4️⃣ COSSACK TYPEWRITER ⠀↳ Focus on opening the inner thigh (adductors). This will prime your body for a further reach on the next exercise. 5️⃣ COSSACK REACH ⠀↳ Progressively reach as far as you can to the sides, and feel your back (lats) opening up. Rest the elbow on your thigh to reach further. ???? 60sec. each exercise ???? No rest between exercises ___________________________ Please feel free to extend the time, do more sets, hold a stretch longer, and play around with this routine as much as you’d like. ????‍♂️ Not all mornings are the same. Sometimes you feel tighter, sometimes you feel looser, sometimes you wake up with a new ache in your back… So move mindfully and tune into the sensations you feel. You are more than capable to adjust accordingly. ???? THE PRACTICE GOES ON… Btw, what would you like to see next? Any requests? I appreciate you. - Yass

I was hesitant to share this with you. On my last post I talked about Moving Freely in your Safe Space, but haven’t shared much about my experience with it. I could tell you that I feel safe anytime and anywhere, but it would not be true. The words I choose, the hand gestures I use, the facial expressions I make, vary depending on the context I am in. Hardly you ever express yourself the same way being with your friends as opposed to your parents, your kids, your partner, your teachers, and so on… The clip above is from a day where I was alone in the @saturnomovemnt studio 1 month ago. The difference in the way I express movement with my body is obvious. The more I LET GO of β€œwhat it’s supposed to look or be like”… … the more freedom I felt. … the more emotional it was. … the more perception I lost of time and space. I hardly was able to remember what I just did. Filming it for the first time was eye opening and revealing. The question that instantly popped in my head was, β€œWhy do we deprive ourselves from doing this?” The answers that come to mind are related to Feeling Safe, once again. And that is something that ONLY YOU can give to yourself. The practice goes on… I appreciate you for reading this, sharing your thoughts, and contributing on giving a little push to feel safe and courageous. We got this. ✊???? - Yass ????Night - Ludovico Einaudi

Comment your Safe-Space below ???????? If you haven’t found it yet, ask yourself… Is there any reason why I’m not allowing myself to move however I want when it’s just me, by myself, in my room, alone, and even in the dark? The answer is yours. The practice goes on… I appreciate you. ???????? - Yass

????????7 Lesssons from being married for 7 years… 1 ~ I am wounded person loving another wounded person. We all have our traumas. 2 ~ We are not each other’s life saviors but life companions. 3 ~ I don’t need to be fully healed to have a relationship. The relationship itself could be the healing. 4 ~ The most important relationship I have is with myself. 5 ~ I am responsible for how I respond to my emotions. 6 ~ We are not here to directly teach each other how to live. We are here to walk the journey together, and let love do the teaching. 7 ~ Getting close to my masculine and feminine energy helps me understand myself, and my partner, better. _______________________________ ???? Today marks 7 years of being married. Let’s start by saying that the length of a relationship doesn’t reflect how much love, growth, trust there is. I don’t think time is a good metric for that, even though it could seem that way. On the very first conversation ThaΓs and I had, we felt that we had known each other for years. That warm feeling of being comfortable, attracted, playful, understood… We felt that since day 1. Yes, I am aware that I am extremely lucky/blessed for having found her in my life. And I’m not trying to brag nor convey that you need to find yourself someone like that or someone at all. What I do want to share is that even when you find what you believe to be β€œyour best match”, that unique connection… your emotional maturity is what makes it work. The cultural expectations, standards, ideologies, and symbols of what an IDEAL COUPLE should LOOK and BE like, only bring disappointment, confusion and suffering. Making us question if we are the miss-fits. So I thought why not share a few point that helped our relationship. Thank you @thais_pc_ for teaching and inspiring me. For being yourself with me. For being the mother you are. For sharing your life with me. ???? T’estimo infinit tutito!
