Social media doesn’t love nuance. It loves teams. Sides. Hot takes. So when it comes to “odd” exercises, they’re either glorified as elite-level genius or dismissed as useless nonsense. No middle ground. No curiosity. Just unjustified certainty. My training usually involves a couple of odd movements. Not because they’re magic, or because I'm anti-establishment, but simply because they challenge me to move differently. To pay attention, be surprised, and have fun. I'm my boon those reasons are enough to not dismiss an exercise enitely. Even if it is TERRIBLY silly.
