The other day I found some handmade chocolate covered strawberries ???? in my brothers downstairs fridge and was like “who are these for?” Cody tells me with a big grin they are for tonight! He has something up his sleeve. But what is it? I have no idea. It’s a Wednesday night.

When I found the strawberries, he said to be ready at 6:45. Cody loves surprises!???? And man does he throws the best surprises. So I knew it must be something good.
.
I was ready by 7:00, but Cody is still gone. And Eliana had gone to the park and still was not home, which was odd for her because she is usually timely. I was thinking somethings a little fishy here.
.
He came home, took a quick shower and we headed out. We arrived at our normal beach spot. But then he pulled out a blindfold and put it over my eyes. Ok what is going on here?
.
He leaded me by the hand down the little path and I noticed a photographer under the edge of my blindfold. I thought man I wasn’t planning on professional pictures
????. Later I saw that there was a wedding on the beach and the photographer was for them. Cody adjusted the blindfold so I couldn’t see and then we kept walking.
.
Then with the blindfold still on, he hands me a rose.???? I felt like I was on the Bachelor!????

Well as you can see, he surprised me with a beautiful heart fire pit covered in rose petals and our soft @bigblanketco We had a lovely night drinking ???? and eating chocolate dipped strawberries ????talking late into the night.

The moon???? shining in the distance and the sound of the ocean???? in the background. Firelight dancing through the night with the amazing company of my husband. What more could I ask for!

@codyblank_ sure outdoes himself time and time again. I’m not really sure how to throw something so grand for him. So I’m gonna appreciate all he does very much. But if you have any ideas on how to surprise him, DM me because then I can hide it from him.????

Florida is known for its alligators???? ! And many people from other states or countries think the gators come out of the water and get you. Or at least that's how I have heard it described. Alligators in Florida aren’t particularly like that. If you want to see gators in thier natural habitat and still keep a safe distance. Then boating in the Okeenefanoke Swamp is your place! At Stephen C Foster State Park in South Georgia about two hours from Jacksonville you can rent skiffs, Jon Boats, a kayak, or get a guided boat tour. It's the best way to see gators with your kids but stay safe on your boat. What a way to create memories your family won’t soon forget.

Tips to see Alligators in thier natural habitat:

•Rent a boat:
Jon boats rental 2 hours=$40 4 hours=$60
Skiff Rentals 2 hr=$60 4hr=$80
Kayaks 2 hrs=$15 4 hrs=$20 8 hrs=$30

•Arrive early as they say more alligators are out then for your viewing pleasure.

•Bring water to stay hydrated. It's like Florida, Sunny Hot, and Humid.

•Bring sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses, or whichever of these you like to use.

•Bring lunch, it's located out in the boondocks and thier is no restaurants nearby. If you plan to rent for 4 hours bring your lunch on the boat and stop for a picnic. There is an Island you can stop at, Billy's Island. Another area you can stop at is a covered platform with a porta-potty and picnic table.

•The campground onsite has a few camping options and cottage rentals if that is your jam. It is a certified Dark Sky Park. So I'm assuming it's captivating when the night rolls around.

The hike is illegal and has been closed to the public since the 1980s. Being 2 miles long with a 2,625-foot elevation gain. A metal stairway leads to a high viewpoint with a run-down radio tower. So the rule followers (Cody & @kimberlyblank_ ) take a back route that is over 10 miles long with a 5,000-foot elevation gain. A good part of Moanalua Valley Trail was a ridge hike with insanely beautiful views, as you trudge along through slippery mud. To be honest, It was our longest hike yet and very exhausting. My knees and legs were sore for days.
