Company Settings

What this tab does: Sets the default commission, attribution window, and landing page for every campaign launched under this brand. You can override any of these per campaign later. Industry-standard suggestions are pre-filled in placeholders, safe starting points if you're not sure.

Default landing page When a shopper clicks an influencer's tracking link, they land here. Usually your home page or a campaign-specific landing page. Use a stable URL, broken links lose sales. Discount code prefix 2-8 letters/digits. Used to mint unique influencer codes, if prefix is NIKE, codes look like NIKE-A1B2C3D4. Leave empty if your store doesn't issue discount codes (Keepface will still track sales via the link).

Default commission % Influencer's cut of each sale. Typical: 5-15%. Higher for high-margin items (cosmetics, software), lower for tight-margin (electronics, fashion). Cookie window (days) If a shopper clicks today and buys later, how many days do they still count as that influencer's sale? 30 days is standard. Shorter = stricter attribution; longer = more credit to early-funnel influencers. Refund holdback (days) Wait period before releasing the commission to the influencer. Covers your refund window, 14-30 days is typical. Set to your store's refund policy length.

What this tab does: How refunds are handled and which legal disclosures to require. Safe defaults: Proportional clawback and FTC disclosure on. Skip the rest if you're just getting started.

If a customer returns their order, what happens? Example: influencer earns $50 on a $500 order (10% commission). Customer returns 1 of 5 items ($100 refund). Proportional deducts $10 (10% of the $100 refunded) → influencer keeps $40. Full deducts the entire $50 → influencer keeps $0. Proportional is friendlier and what most platforms use. Tax entity (optional) Legal business name that appears on the influencer's payout statement / 1099 (US) / invoice (EU). Usually matches what's on your store's About page. Skip if unsure, finance can fill this in later.

Compliance gates, extra checks before money moves

Require FTC #ad disclosure Recommended Posts must include #ad-#sponsored, or equivalent disclosure for commissions to release. Required by US law (FTC Endorsement Guides) and most countries, protects both you and the influencer. Require content approval before payout Brand has to review and approve the post first. Catches off-brand or low-quality content, but adds review delay. Good for premium brands; usually overkill for everyday e-commerce.

What this tab does: Raise the commission % once an influencer crosses sales milestones, bonuses for top performers. Skip if everyone earns the flat rate from General.

Example tier ladder:

Sales 0-9: 10% (default from General)
Sales 10+: 12% (bronze)
Sales 50+: 15% (silver)
Sales 200+: 20% (gold)

The influencer earns the highest tier they qualify for on each sale.

Per-product rates

Optional · overrides tiers when SKU matches

Set a different commission per product SKU when the same affiliate sells a mix of products at different margins. Postbacks must include the SKU in skus[] for the match to apply.

Precedence: per-influencer custom rate → per-SKU → tier ladder → default.

Enable one or more tracking channels. You can run them in parallel for redundancy.

JS Pixel, easiest. Paste 2 lines on your "thank you" page. ~2 min, no developer.

Shopify Webhooks, best for Shopify stores. Add 3 webhooks in admin, paste the secret here. ~5 min.

Postback (S2S), for custom stacks. Your backend POSTs orders to Keepface. Needs a developer.

Discount code, no setup. Customers enter BRAND-XXXX at checkout and get attributed automatically.

Discount code attribution

No setup. Each affiliate gets their own PREFIX-XXXX code minted on approval. When a buyer enters it at checkout, we attribute the sale automatically.

Your Code prefix is on the General tab. When this channel is enabled and an order arrives with discount_code matching a member's code, the sale gets credited even without a cookie or tracking link click.

Tip: this works as a fallback for the pixel and postback channels — if a buyer landed without a tracking cookie but typed the code at checkout, they're still attributed.

Optional. Keepface will POST every conversion + status change to this URL so your CRM / Slack / data warehouse stays in sync.

CSV import

Bulk-upload historical conversions (backfill) or sync without any integration. Use Affiliate sales → Import.

What this tab does: Configures the public landing page where new influencers sign up to this brand's affiliate program. Pick whether sign-ups go live immediately or sit in a review queue, then open the full editor to customise copy, hero image, and benefits.

When someone signs up via the public page…

Auto-approve Recommended They get their tracking link instantly and can start promoting. Fastest growth; you can still pause individuals later if fraud appears. Manual review Sign-ups sit pending until you approve them on the Members page. Adds friction; useful for premium / invite-only programs.
