The girl on the LEFT used to look at fit girls on TV or in magazines and think: ????I could NEVER look like that, so what's the point of even starting?! Can any of you relate?! A little bit about me: I grew up in a small town in Hungary???????? I didn’t grow up doing sports, in fact I was always one of the worst performing kid in my physical education class. I had NO clue about calories or how to take care of my body. I lived a very unhealthy lifestyle - partying, eating junk, drinking every weekend .. even smoking ???????? (not proud of it, but it’s the truth) I didn’t start my fitness journey until my 20s. I went to the gym for the first time with my boyfriend (husband now????????❤️) ....it was love at first sight - with working out (and with him too haha) I got OBSESSED with educating myself on training and nutrition. Fast forward to today: The girl on the RIGHT, have helped over 40,000 women in countries all over the world transform their bodies & lives. Through the support and love of our rapidly growing FitQueen community, we’ve completed over 10 Challenges that push us physically, mentally, and emotionally into BETTER, STRONGER, and HEALTHIER women. You do not HAVE to LOSE WEIGHT for your big day. Not for your wedding. Not for your graduation. Not for your birthday or your baby’s birthday or any gosh darn birthday. Even if society tells us otherwise. I’ve started getting diet adverts related to weddings. ‘Bridal detoxes’ and ‘get slim fast!’ programs. I know why they’re targeting me; So many brides DIET before they say ‘I do’. But I’m not going to play that game. I don’t want to waste a moment of this special time, Counting calories or struggling to shrink. For me, ‘TINIER’ and ‘HEALTHIER’ don’t necessarily go hand in hand, And while I DO have goals, I’m tying them more to a FEELING than some society-enforced physique. So today, I just want to remind you: Us women do not HAVE to become LESS, In order to deserve MORE. We do not have to make ourselves SMALLER To live the big, delicious, colorful lives we deserve. And we do not have to SHRINK, In order to CELEBRATE. So you, you lovely soul, Drown out the shouts of a 70 billion dollar diet industry, And own the magic of your BIG DAY. ⠀ You're only going to find what you search for. My physical practice is multifaceted. My inspiration for movement goes far beyond being fit, feeling healthy, or doing fun handstands and arm balance transitions. I love the physical benefits, but mental and emotional aspects have been far more valuable than any one-arm balance could offer me. ⠀ I've put thousands of hours into my handstands. Every one of those hours I've dedicated has taught me patience, self-discipline, drive, determination, perseverance, what it feels like to fall a thousand times and only to fall again. Knowing that I'll never fail at anything if I never give up. I've learned to trust myself, forgive myself, love myself, and that I have nothing to prove to myself, much less anyone else. ⠀ But here's the catch. I was only able to gain that from my practice because that is why I practice. It's not to have a perfect handstand; the handstand is the side effect. Become a better human is the direct result. . Eat or Pass? ???????? . Sweet Potato Avocado Toast ???? Full recipe below, send it to a friend who’d love this!⁣ By: Crystal Hatch and Tasty Ingredients (for 4 servings) 1 large sweet potato 1 large avocado 2 garlics, minced ¾ cup cherry tomato (150 g) bacon, crumbled, for garnish feta cheese, crumbled, for garnish Preparation Slice sweet potato lengthwise into ¼-inch (6 mm) thick slices. Place slices in toaster on high for about 5 minutes, or until cooked through. (You may need to toast them several times depending on the strength your toaster settings) While the sweet potato is toasting, mash the avocado in a bowl. Add garlic and tomatoes. Stir to combine. Top your sweet potato toasts with the mashed avocado mixture and garnish with crumbled bacon and feta. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
