A GREEN DIWALI IS POSSIBLE! On October 30, we achieved our mission of a pioneering Green Diwali initiative using thousands of entirely hand-built solar powered lamps at the Gateway of India. This is a moment to celebrate not only this achievement, but most importantly, the people who powered this green approach to Diwali : our Liter of Light India chapter and the men and women of the pottery cooperative whose commitment and dedication to their work made this possible. Because of you, thousands of families across the country will have a brighter future. You are truly the lights of the village, and today, we celebrate you. #literoflight

For six years, @sp_global has stood with us to light it forward — turning darkness into opportunity for families across the Philippines. ????✨ Together, we’ve hand-built solar reading lights, mobile charging systems, and street lights that don’t just brighten homes — they ignite hope. Thank you for believing in what’s possible when communities and companies join hands. Your partnership proves that when each of us takes action, we create ripples of change with a global impact. Here’s to many more years of lighting the way, together. ???????? #spglobalimpact #literoflight

Today, on Pag-asa island, a luminous sign appears—not just as a mere symbol, but a strong call to action. We installed the largest ever peace sign made with solar lights together with a community of fishermen, showing that small sparks of light can can come together to create something powerful. As the world observes the @unitednations UN International Day of Peace this September, we echo this year’s theme: “Act Now for a Peaceful World.” All of us carry a light of hope for peace and we must all take action to speak out against violence, fight for justice, respect diversity, and foster a kinder world for future generations. With this installation, we hope to ignite the hope in all our hearts. Peace is not passive. It is something we must actively build and protect together. We stand with the United Nations in this global movement and invite you to take part in shaping a more peaceful, more just world. #InternationalDayOfPeace #ActNowForPeace #UnitedNations

It truly takes a village to create a brighter future. And being an agent of change starts with each of us: to spread hope, to bring light, to illuminate the lives of the people living in our communities and neighborhoods. As we prepare for a world milestone this week, taking a moment to share some snapshots and express our gratitude to the volunteer organizations and thousands of people whose time, talent, and efforts have made this possible. Here, we want to thank the intrepid volunteers from the @fireflybrigade.ph who biked from all over the Metro and beyond to help us light it forward. Maraming, maraming salamat! ????????????????
