Finally hanging out and loving Long Island living. New me, who dis?

Adjusting to life here has NOT been easy. What’s changed then? My mindset and the words that I speak.

Instead of wallowing, I decided to explore. Instead of missing my friends and wishing they lived closer, I’m making an effort to make new friends (or at least acquaintances). Instead of plotting an exit strategy, I’m going to the beach, which is only 15 minutes away, the vineyards (an hour away), and restaurants and bars in diverse neighborhoods.

It’s a new dawn, it’s a new day. And I’m feeling good. Cause I changed my mindset and, in turn, my life.
