Standout projects making waves around the web

We are very excited to share the news. In April 2026, we are returning to Bali for a six-day retreat designed to help you reconnect with your inner fire and rediscover the sacred space within. In 2026, we enter the Year of the Fire Horse, a cycle that encourages movement, action, clarity, courage, and the strength to live more boldly from the heart and create our dreams. It is a powerful moment to step into your truth and realign with what truly matters to you. Join us in Bali for a journey that blends daily powerful yoga and meditation sessions with Balinese rituals, healing spaces, and the beauty of Ubud’s nature and culture. Together, we will slow down, explore, release what no longer belongs, and step into a new phase of clarity and alignment. If you feel called to join, comment "BALI" below and we will send you all the details personally. Spots are limited. With love, Burcu and Yesim #yogaretreat #baliretreat #retreat2026

When I was looking for a piece of art for our living room, I started searching online for inspiration. And then I saw this photo. I felt drawn to it immediately. I had to find out who the photographer was. After a little research, I reached out. A few weeks later, it was hanging in our home. Every time I look at it, it reminds me of something beautiful. It's pure freedom. The openness. The trust. The way she jumps into the air with her heart wide open, eyes closed. There is courage in it. There is discipline. There is playfulness. But most of all, there is this deep sense of contentment. It feels like a moment of complete surrender. Of knowing that what you are looking for is already within you. And at the same time, it’s just a captured moment. She will land again. She will return to the ground. That feeling of pure peace, of unity, of love, it doesn’t stay forever. We open our eyes, we walk back into the world, into responsibilities, into whatever challenges us. But the source is still there. Always there. And this photo reminds me how important it is to step out sometimes so we can step back in. Thank you @ballerinaproject_ for your beautiful work. I truly adore it.

This is a glimpse into a day at The Rhythm of Self, our upcoming retreat at @sixsenseskaplankaya in Bodrum. Rooted in the wisdom of Atma Bodha, the Sanskrit teaching of self knowledge, this retreat is an invitation to listen inwardly, reconnect with your body, and create space for clarity, emotional balance, and a grounded sense of presence. From morning yoga and meditation to nourishing meals, somatic work, breathwork, nature immersion, spa restoration, and evenings by the fire, each day is thoughtfully designed to support both depth and ease. There is time for movement and stillness, for reflection, and for meaningful connection with like minded people in an extraordinary natural setting. @boniface_vc and I, alongside the incredible team at Six Senses Kaplankaya, have created a program that weaves together embodied practice, nervous system regulation, movement, rest, and the power of nature. May 20 to 24 Six Senses Kaplankaya, Bodrum You’ll find all details via the link in bio. Or comment Six Senses and we’ll send you the information directly. ???? #wellnessretreat #rhythmofself #sixsenseskaplankaya

We both live in London, and when we met, there was an immediate sense of ease and recognition, and a natural understanding of how our ways of working complement each other. Through Boniface’s long relationship with Six Senses, and a very clear shared yes, it felt natural to host our first retreat together @sixsenseskaplankaya, a place that holds depth, beauty, and care in every detail. Together, we’ve created The Rhythm of Self, an intimate retreat rooted in embodied practices, nervous system regulation, movement, and rest, inspired by Atma Bodha, the Sanskrit teaching of self-knowledge. A return to listening inwardly, reconnecting with the body, and creating space for clarity, emotional balance, and a grounded sense of presence. Grateful to @by_maslows for the beautiful setting where we met to refine and prepare for this retreat. If you feel curious, you’ll find all the details via the link in bio. Or comment Six Senses and we’ll send you the information directly. Photos @lumagroupco #sixsenseskaplankaya #therhythmofself #wellnessretreat #bodrum

Lately, I’ve been thinking about the word longevity. Not just the word itself, but what sits behind it. It’s a topic that's gaining a lot of attention right now, and I understand why. There is so much valuable research, experience, and practical wisdom being shared. It's incredible how accessible this knowledge has become, and I deeply respect the work of amazing people who dedicate themselves to this field. At the same time, I’ve noticed that the way I hold space comes from a slightly different place. For me, it has never mainly been about living longer. It’s about living in the present moment with care and awareness. The way I move, breathe, eat, rest, or take supplements isn’t driven by thoughts about the future, but by how I feel now. How present I am. How connected I feel to my body. How calm my nervous system is. How much aliveness I can feel in this moment. That’s also why certain choices in my life happened naturally. I stopped drinking alcohol not because I was thinking about longevity, but because it didn’t feel good in my body anymore. Even small amounts affected my sleep, my clarity, my energy. So I changed it. The same applies to how I live with my children. We don’t have processed sugar at home, not because I’m worried about their future health, but because I can see how it affects them now. Their mood, their balance, their nervous system. On my retreats, the focus isn’t on optimizing the body. It’s about getting to know yourself better. About listening, softening, allowing, stepping into your own strength, and accepting instead of controlling. When we learn to be at peace with who we are right now, the body naturally finds its rhythm. We begin to act more from intuition. For me, longevity becomes a side effect of this way of living, not the goal itself. That doesn’t make it less valuable, just differently oriented. It’s less about trying to reach a future outcome, and more about the intention with which we live our lives today. I'm obviously not a longevity specialist, and I'm truly grateful for those who share their expertise with us. It's just the way I see and share things. Would be interesting to know what your thoughts are...

Today my six year son asked me a question I wasn’t prepared for. Mom, what am I? Am I Muslim? Am I Christian? Am I Hindu? I stood there for a moment and looked at him. I suddenly realised how big this question is for a child who is starting to look for identity. We pray every night together. We pray to God. We ask for protection, for good sleep, for health, for love. This has always been part of our lives. But we don’t raise our children with a specific religion. With values - yes, and yes, we celebrate specific festivals. So I told him this: We believe in God. We believe there is something greater than us. Something that connects all of us. Something that is not far away, but right here. Something you can talk to anytime. Something that lives inside you too. He was not very satisfied with my answer. I continued: What matters to us is a kind heart. A loving heart. Respect for others. Respect for the earth. Knowing that we all share the same air, the same ground, the same life. Religion is important and gives structure, values and guidance. And for many people it is deeply important. For me, it's about oneness. We are not separate from each other. Then he said: My teacher said, I can be whatever I want and choose my own religion. And I said: Yes, that's true, when you are old enough.

Sometimes we lose sight of why we are doing all of this. We lose motivation. We lose connection. Days pass by and we feel empty, like we are moving but not really going anywhere. We find ourselves in the same loop again. And then it’s time to remember why we started. There are moments when you don’t believe in yourself. When you feel lost. When you forget your strengths, your talents, your direction. And it doesn’t matter who you are or what you’ve done. Everyone goes through this. Feeling disconnected from yourself is part of the path. These grey moments are not a failure. They are part of growth. They ask us how much we really want what we want. How willing we are to stay present, to keep showing up, even when it feels uncomfortable. There is still something inside you that wants to shine. Even if you can’t feel it right now. And that is enough for today. #understandingyourself #innerwork
