Any trip to Argentina must include a trip to one if not both of the nation’s wine regions. Even if you’re not a big wine fan like me, the scenery is spectacular, the food on the vineyards is amazing and there are also other awesome activities to do, like horseback riding, archery classes and more. ??

If you intend to visit the vineyards, reservations are required and be prepared to eat, as most tastings are set up as lunch, or a light meal rather than purely wine samples as in many other places. Some vineyards also offer tours and I recommend you do at least one as it’s always interesting to see how the wine is made in each region. Ready, set, taste! ?

These luxury condos by @bellstarresorts come in various sizes (ours was a 3 bedroom, 3 bath) but all have stunning Rocky Mountain Views! ?

With the USA now ranking 6th in the world in terms of percentage of fully vaccinated citizens (at 35%) and 10th in terms of partially vaccinated (at 46%), many are beginning to plan their summer vacations. The CDC has even announced that fully vaccinated people no longer need to wear masks indoors or outdoors. (Btw, Canada is doing great on partial vaccinations at 41% of the population! However, due to numerous political and bureaucratic blunders, only 3.5% are fully vaccinated ranking the country 62nd place globally).

With this in mind, do you have any summer trips planned? I have quite a few places in mind but would love to hear what’s on yours! ?

So what is the best time of the year to visit Lake Louise? Well anytime! Each season has pros and cons. During winter, you have the possibility to skate or cross country ski on the frozen lake or visit the ice castle constructed in front of it. Winter nights are also ideal for stargazing and even spotting the Northern Lights.❄️

In Spring, the Lake Louise area is likely to still be quite snowy (this photo was taken at the end of March 2021). In April and May as the snow and ice melt, hiking season begins. It starts with the lakeshore trail, and by about June, trails leading to higher elevations become passable. The fall season doesn’t have this problem — the snow is yet to arrive, but it will be cold.?

During summer, you can of course enjoy the lake in all it’s teal glory (see my second set of photos in this set taken in June a few years ago), but it will be VERY crowded. You may need to overnight in the area just to get parking. ?
