Celebrating my seventh holiday season as a plant based vegan ???? and my fiancé @halliesplantlife is celebrating his fifth year! There’s no turning back for us. I’m in my twenties and he’s in his forties and we’ve never felt healthier, happier, stronger or more connected to animals and our environment before. Once we become educated on the reality of the animal agriculture industry, there was truly no other option for us — we are both guided by our moral compass in life. For us, eating vegan is simple, fun, easy, affordable + sustainable no matter where we live or travel. A meal like this doesn’t come around often, but when it does — it sure is a treat ???? Thank you @kyndcommunity for the incredible dinner, live music + community vibes. We appreciate all you do for bali + the world x

Sunday afternoon at the water temple on #film ???? @halliesplantlife has been driving himself up here every Sunday for a few weeks on his own before finally extending the invitation to me ???? It’s a magical place with an energy that pulls you in from the moment you drive down the dirt road into the small village where the temple resides. The water is clean and the connection is even clearer ✨????????Coming to places like this in bali used to feel “touristy” for me when I first arrived. Now I see what a limited perspective I held and am SO grateful that the hindu people open their place of worship up to all people — of all religions and spiritual backgrounds. For many people, purification in the holy water of this sacred temple is a daily practice. Holding fresh flower petals in their hand as they pray and ask for blessings from Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma ???? There are a lot of changes and shifts unfolding in my life this month. Doing my best to stay grounded and present in the now, while praying for peace and pleasure in the unknown. My current mantra is “miracles happen often. all I must do is slow myself down enough to truly experience them.” ????????♀️????????♀️????????♀️
