Read the ingredients. Many of the meat substitutes are loaded with sodium and preservatives and can be similar of similar sodium, calories and fat content as the meat.

The plant based alternatives are NOT nutritionally equivalent to the meat. They have their pros and cons! 

Lots of red meats can lead to heart disease and even increased risk of cancer. 

Talk to your doctor on what is right for you.

✨whole wheat tortilla (roti) with ghee and steamed lima beans, broccoli, beets, and cauliflower 
✨Hummus with steamed veggies
✨Tofu scramble
✨one ingredient red lentil tortilla
